As forward thinking as the new Camaro, the Illinois Camaro Club is on task with a new website, club events, and an interactive way to keep members and officers in touch with each other. Use the BLOG its their for questions and comments. Our new website is over a year old now and will continue to be ever changing. Want to see your ride inside, send your name, membership number, one to four digital photos, and a breif discription in to us, we'll get it up ASAP. We may be creating a new shopping area this year, there you will find the jackets, t-shirts, polo shirts, hats and other club items for purchase. As always, most of these items are available at the club events. Looking forward to a great 2009!!!!

  In Memory of Steve Usilton 

The Illinois Camaro Club lost a great member and friend on March 17th, 2009.

Steve and his daughter Lindsey were the first members that I had met when I first joined the club a little over 7 years ago. It is because of Steve and members like him that I am still a member today. He made everyone feel welcome, was always ready to lend a hand and no matter how tired he was, wouldn't quit until he got the job done. I had witnessed this over and over throughout the years and I know that many members were glad that he and his tool box were around when car trouble happened on the road. I always looked forward to seeing him at any event that I attended and I am sure that all of the members felt the same. Jeff Peloquin sent out a letter asking the members for help, a copy of which can be viewed HERE for more information. Please do what you can to help out Becky and Lindsey in the same spirit that Steve would have. I know that times are tough, but every little bit helps.

I will truly miss you Steve,
